Jr. League - grades 1 & 2
The WYBA Junior League is for boys and girls in grades 1 & 2 to introduce them to the game of basketball. This league will run for 8 weeks and each session will include approximately 30 minutes of skills & drills followed by 30 minutes of rotating scrimmages. This is a beginner's league focused on instruction, fundamentals and fun for both boys and girls.
2025-2026 Dates
- Sunday afternoons at the Walpole Middle School on 8.5' hoops
- Exact time slots will be assigned after registration is complete
- 8 weeks starting Sunday December 14 through February 8 (no Jr. League December 28)
- Timeslots:
- 11:30am-12:30 pm - Girls Grades 1 & 2
- 12:45-1:45 pm - Boys Grades 1 & 2
- 2:00-3:00 pm - Boys Grades 1 & 2
- 3:15-4:15 pm - Girls Grades 1 & 2
- 4:30-5:30 pm - Boys Grades 1 & 2
